Welcome to BKG Event Venue! By booking or using our venue, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making any reservations.
1. Booking and Reservations
- All event bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed through a phone conversation with our representative and a deposit.
- A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid no later than two (2) weeks before the event date.
- A refundable incidental fee of $1000 is required to secure your reservation. This will be returned to you in full if no damage needs to be deducted. Any damage made by you or your guest will come out of this fee. The balance will be returned to you within seven (7) business days.
- Final guest count and event details must be confirmed two (2) weeks prior to the event.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations made in two (2) weeks before the event will be eligible for a partial refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
- Cancellations made within two (2) weeks of the event date are not eligible for refunds.
- Any changes to your event date must be requested in writing or verbally and may be subject to additional fees, based on availability.
3. Venue Usage
- The client is responsible for all setup, teardown, and cleanup unless other arrangements have been made with BKG Event Venue.
- Any decorations or materials must be pre-approved, and no alterations to the venue’s structure or permanent fixtures are allowed.
- Events must end by the designated time stated in your contract. Additional fees may apply for overtime use.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring that their guests comply with all local laws, including noise ordinances.
- Prep kitchen is only for prepping food and warming. You are not allowed to cook in the kitchen.
4. Damages and Liability
- Any damages to the property, equipment, or venue caused by the client or their guests will be the responsibility of the client, and repair costs will be charged accordingly.
- BKG Event Venue is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages to personal property that occur during the event.
- Clients must provide proof of event insurance if required, covering any liability for injury or damage during their event.
5. Catering and Alcohol
- All catering services must be provided by an approved vendor list or with prior consent from BKG Event Venue.
- If alcohol is served, it must comply with all legal requirements.
- BKG Event Venue reserves the right to cease the serving of alcohol at any time during the event if safety concerns arise.
6. Rooftop Space
- Rooftop access is available for rent as part of your event package and is subject to additional fees.
- The rooftop area has a capacity limit of 80 people, and clients must adhere to these restrictions for safety reasons.
7. Force Majeure
- BKG Event Venue is not responsible for events canceled or disrupted due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or power outages. We will offer 1 rescheduled date. If your event does not happen on the rescheduled date your payment is forfeited.
8. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Philadelphia PA, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that area.
9. Amendments
- BKG Event Venue reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time, and such changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
10. Acceptance of Terms
- By booking with BKG Event Venue, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
